About Ohlund Construction
About us
Built On Local Experience Since 1977.
Ohlund Construction was founded in 1977 in the South Cariboo by Eric and Carol Ohlund, both lifelong residents of the area. From the beginning, the company was built on integrity, honesty, and pride in doing things properly — values that continue to guide our work today.
Mike Ohlund began working full-time with the company in 1996 and now oversees the day-to-day operations. As a family-run business, we remain closely connected to the communities we build in and have had the privilege of completing close to 400 homes throughout the region.

Decades Of Residential Construction Experience.
Our team consists of nine dedicated professionals, including Red Seal carpenters, many of whom have been with us for decades. Their experience, care, and consistency show up in the details — the kind that may go unnoticed at first glance, but are felt over time.
We work alongside some of the South Cariboo’s most respected subcontractors, many of whom we’ve partnered with for over 30 years. These long-standing relationships — in several cases now second generation — are built on trust, shared standards, and a mutual commitment to craftsmanship and accountability.
Beyond the job site, we are proud to support local organizations and community initiatives that have been part of our lives for generations. Building homes here isn’t just our work — it’s our way of staying connected to the place we call home.

Building homes Across Southern Caribou.
Our completed projects reflect consistent build quality and careful planning. Homes are designed for everyday use and built to perform well over time in local conditions.

Residential Construction Is More Than A Business.
Ohlund Construction approaches each project with responsibility and care. Planning, coordination, and site management remain aligned from start to completion.

A construction project starts long before the construction phase
We work with 100 Mile House homeowners to prepare their property for their future projects. Planning includes site layout, access, wells drilled, septic systems, and water line coordination.
